I am an employee of the Minnesota Historical Society currently conducting research on former Minnesota Sen. I'm looking for a tape, video or something with info on it." Lisa H. ()ĩ0's Hines and Berglund did a parody of Kokomo, with MN towns. Any help you can give me or direct me too would be great." Bob B. KFWB no longer exists but that would probably be the best. I'm checking with CBS soon regarding KNX but that likely would have been a network cast. KHJ would have had a jock on, same with KRLA and other music stations. Paley doesn't have it and I know somewhere it exists. We'd like to open the show with the radio audio. We are filming a documentary of the 50th anniversary of the Sylmar earthquake (Los Angeles) which happened at 6:02 AM, February 9, 1971. "I'm looking for an air check of a specific time and place and hoping you m ight be able to help. Who was the orchestra or the title artist of that song. "Great radio airchecks I have a question on the KEEY FM102 format. "On the 1984 KMFY radio station were the jingles they played from jam or another jingle company." Cisco L The jingle might have been used right before a weather forecast or news report. Of the song had the words "Turkish" in it. "Back in the early 1970's, on the radio station WYOO from Richfield, MN (Minneapolis) there was a jingle used for many years that was an Instrumental, the title Do you have any suggestions on where I should look? Any suggestions you have will be most appreciated!" James S.

I don't know what radio station they were on, but it would have been received in SW Minnesota, near the Jackson and Windom areas. My aunt married and moved to California and had one daughter in 1950 who has little to remember her mother by. My mother who is 91 now remembers listening to them on the radio. The "Tonette" was my aunt and they sang as a local group in the Twin Cities area and were at some point on the radio in the mid-1930's to early 1940's. I am looking for a recording by a group called the Two Tones and the Tonette. "I am trying to find any recordings of the 'Hobbs House" nightly music programs with Franklin Hobbs which lasted about twenty or so years on WCCO AM radio station. Specifically I remember hearing it driving through the snow past the Cedar exit from 94 traveling west. I am writing to ask about a pirate FM station that was audible in the winter of maybe 2000? It played a Japanese video game jingle that went "Chu Chu Roketto Nezumi wo taskerou Chu chu roketto neko ga kirai." (kiss kiss rocket, let's help the mouse, kiss kiss rocket, we hate cats!) I don't remember much else, but I might have a crudely recorded aircheck from my telephone handset-which would have been pretty crude, given the vintage and the state of smartphones at that time. I thought I'd check to see if you had any ideas. I entered " Marilyn's Scene " in your search box but got no results. I know that sometimes devoted fans record programs off the radio, and thought that maybe you knew of some devoted " Marilyn's Scene" fan who may have some of those shows on tape. I just talked to Marilyn and she said that all the original tape masters of those interviews are lost. It was a Rock interview show and her guests included Al Jarreau, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Elton John, Joe Cocker and on and on. In an era around 1969-71, Marilyn Goodman had a show on KQRS called " Marilyn's Scene". I'm helping gather historical materials for an author who is doing an in depth biography of Al. In my teenage years I worked with Al Jarreau. " I was the pianist/music director of A Prairie Home Companion for decades.
